A new year has started, and it’s been a year since the real re-launch of the blog today. So I thought I should share some goals for the year 2015.
Keep posting regularly.
This isn’t too hard to keep, as I schedule my posts and make sure there’s something coming up often enough. I’m trying to keep the posts bi-weekly even though I have more to do in school this term. But I hope to go back to a weekly schedule, maybe when I’m properly used to school.
Write more about books, comics and games.
Last year it ended up being mostly anime. Nothing wrong with that, but I want to mix it up a little. It’s a blog about all those things, not just anime after all.
Go back to the classics.
Most classics or great titles came out before I was born or in my childhood. Now it’s time to go back and write about those!
Get a guide out.
This is my one big project, which also means I’ll be re-visiting or picking up stuff for the first time. The guide I’m writing is on the mahou shoujo – magical girl – genre and is for everyone who once picked up a title like Magic Knight Rayearth, Sailor Moon or Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch and want to find something similar, but never figured out how. And the people just wanting to learn about the genre. And to everyone who things the genres is only about transformation and fighting evil by moonlight.
