Laid-back Camp

When Nadeshiko Kagamihara (CV: Yumiri Hanamori) just had moved to Yamanashi, she met Rin Shima (CV: Nao Touyama) who was out camping. Rin is a solo camper who focuses on winter camping, and she brings Nadeshiko back to her camp, as Nadeshiko is more or less a lost child at this point. It’s the start of a friendship between the two, and the start of a new hobby for Nadeshiko.

THOUGHTS
This is one of those cute girls doing… Does camping count as something cute? I personally don’t think so, but it’s for sure a warming experience to watch this show. It’s very relaxed, but also very educational about camping (especially in Japan) and much like Encouragement of Climb, it inspires the audience to try an outdoor activity.

It’s also a show about friendship and respecting boundaries, as no one in the show ever forces Rin – who prefers camping solo – on any camp trip, even if they invite her, but Rin will agree to camping with Nadeshiko (and the Outdoor Club) if she feels like it because she bonds with them over camping.

If you like cute girls doing cute things-kind of shows and are looking for something relaxing and heart-warming, this show is for you. It’s one of the best shows during the Winter season this year and is something I warmly recommend even though my experience with camping is awful, and what they call “winter camping” is more like autumn camping where I live.

At the time it’s still airing, so no links for the time being.

But this show, is like always, available on Crunchyroll.
