“Mum, I know you still don’t understand me, neither do you trust me fully. But I will work hard so that you can accept me. If I can’t become your son-in-law, I would like to at least be your son.”
Jiang Ning continued seriously. “I’m going to call you Mum forever.”
Lin Yuzhen is the only granddaughter of Lin Xiao, who has created money from nothing, rising in society from a little candy shop. But because she’s a granddaughter and her father disabled, she lacks any value to Lin Xiao. On the urging of his grandsons, he decides to have someone marry into her family. Jiang Ning is chosen, as he has a history of mental illness, is homeless and seems to be ten years older than Lin Yuzhen. He looks like the worst potential candidate for her!

Note: This post will be updated continuously. It’s not as thorough as I want it to be, but I wanted to publish it more than I wanted to wait until my second hip dislocation was fully healed (and potentially get stuck in bed for another month or two in case i have the same injury again). It’ll be updated very soon, assuming I can sit more than a few minutes without severe pain.
Not only is today’s post late, but also a little different. I don’t really talk about parenting on this blog, since it’s not the focus, nor do I usually make posts that target parents or other legal guardians.
Well, today that is exactly what this post is about. Well, it’s targeting parents to keep their kids safe, so it sort of touches on parenting.
This post came to be during a bout of insomnia (which I still suffer from) when I went into a webnovel/webcomic binge (which I’m still in). I decided to explore different platforms, considering making some batch posts covering them. This was all fine and dandy until I came across a platform with highly questionable content, with users mentioning their young ages. My worry, as a parent, for these kids (who clearly need a lesson in internet safety themselves) led me to the decision to make a post covering all platforms I can find and access (and understand!)… and here we are. I was supposed to post something a week ago, but I was drowning in how much writing I had to do. I even had this post written as a backup plan and everything, but I just forgot. I realised yesterday that, hey, Sunday this week is DECEMBER. So, sorry for the late post, but here we got what I could manage!
My granddad told me to be a good person, the kind of person who forgave other people when they made mistakes. By all accounts, Gods were people as well. Probably.
High school student Mochizuki Touya was on his way home from school when God accidentally hit him with lightning, killing Touya. Due to the circumstance, God revived him in a new world (mostly) with the societal development of the middle ages. But not without a little bonus. God granted Touya a favour, letting Touya bring his smartphone as a functional device, and giving him a little stat boost. Now it’s time for Touya to live his new life in the medieval, magical world, with a smartphone in hand.
