It’s been a while since my last batch post, but allow me to briefly share my thoughts on a few shows I’ve watched recently (or not so recently but never finished the posts for). There will be another batch soon, because I didn’t want this post to be too long and I’ve binged a lot of shows while I was pregnant and during the past year and I’d like to share my thoughts on at least a portion of them. Next month will be a game review, but I think there’ll be another batch post the month after that.

Takashi Natsume (CV: Hiroshi Kamiya) is back once again, living between the worlds of human and youkai. For another season we get to follow Takashi’s daily life with Nyanko-sensei (CV: Kazuhiko Inoue). He starts to learn more about his maternal grandmother Reiko (CV: Sanae Kobayashi), and slowly continues opening up to the fellow humans around him. Continue reading →
Yuri Katsuki (CV: Toshiyuki Toyonaga) is a figure skater who just did awfully during the Grand Prix. Rumours has it he’s going to retire, and Yuri himself is too depressed to continue for a while. He had been practicing in the States, but eventually returns home.
Needing time to think, Yuri borrows the local ice rink and shows one of his childhood friends the routine of his idol, Victor Nikiforov (CV: Junichi Suwabe), and the daughters of hers record it and post it on YouTube. It makes an uproar and Victor decides to quit skating for the season and takes up coaching Yuri, which leads to a change of life for Yuri himself. Continue reading →
