When Miyuki Hoshizora (CV: Misato Fukuen) was a child she found a picture book with ripped pages. She promises the main character to make an end for her. Years later Miyuki and her friends are at a picture book fair and they find an interesting tent which should be showing a film. Batch posts a compilation of a few shows I’ve dropped, films, OVAs and Specials that don’t need their own posts.
Wizard Barrister: Benmashi Cecil
Cecil Sudou (CV: Rui Tanabe) is the youngest Wizard Barrister in history. She is together with the other at her agency to be attorney’s for fellow wizards. She says it’s to help people, but in fact she wants to save her own mother who is in jail for illegal use of magic.
It seemed pretty okay, but after a while it got a bit confusing and more than anything – boring. I just gave up. (lol)
Titans have conquered the earth and humans have fled into tall walls to keep themselves safe from the threat. The only ones that can leave the walls are a special unit of soldiers, but the majority of them never return from their mission. One day the outer wall, Wall Maria, falls and the titans enter. People are evacuated, people are eaten by the titans, and Eren Yeager (CV: Yuuki Kaji) was there to see it. He saw his own mother get eaten and he couldn’t do anything about it.
This makes him determined to kill all the titans and to reach his goal, he becomes a soldier. He’s refuses to accept defeat, but the day before the trainees are supposed to choose which unit to join, the titans attack again. And this time, Eren himself is eaten while his best friend Armin Arlert (CV: Marina Inoue) can’t do a thing. Continue reading “Shingeki no Kyojin”
Batch posts are (mostly) early impressions on shows I dropped along the way over the season. Most shows which I stop watching are dropped within the 3 first episodes or I watch through it, but there are times I drop them further in (usually longer shows). The following four are all from this ongoing winter season.
Saikin, Imouto no Yousu ga Chotto Okashiin da ga.
Or ImoCho for short. In English it’s “Recently, my little sister has been a bit weird” (ignore the fact I just translated the title as is, which isn’t what I’ve actually the English title, as far as I know).
These little sister light novels are going to kill me. I thought that after torturing myself through 12 episodes and a recap of Disgusting Wifebeaters (aka Diabolik Lovers) I could watch anything. I was wrong and ImoCho slapped that in my face only days after I thought I could watch anything. Life is cruel.
Well, ImoCho seemed to be liked by my boyfriend after a single episode (I didn’t check his rating on it on MAL. Nope.) but as I’m not interested in a combination of following ingredients:
Step-siblings (older male, younger female) alone in a house (well, will be – parents are leaving for India)
Ghost masturbating while possessing girl
And more stuff like as above. Yeah, I admit I couldn’t write more without being at loss of words.
I guess the first episode could basically be described as tasteless soft porn. I’m not into that. I’ll take on those vampires any day, as long as I don’t have to watch ImoCho. Continue reading “Batch #1”
