Alibaba Saluja (CV: Yuuki Kaji), a runaway prince, wants to conquer a dungeon, and when he meets a small boy named Aladdin (CV: Kaori Ishihara) who is a magi. Together they go to conquer a local magi and with the money Alibaba gets he buys all the slaves in the town free. He then starts a journey hoping to once again meet with Aladdin who went missing after they conquered the dungeon. Continue reading
Izumi Sena (CV: Tsubasa Yonaga) has a family consisting of celebrities. His mother is the actress Nagisa Sena (CV: Sayaka Oohara), his father is the singer Seiya Sena (CV: Ryoutarou Okiayuu) and his brother is SHOGO (CV: DAIGO) from the rock band Crusherz and so he’s expected to go into the showbiz world too. But that’s not Izumi wants! He was traumatized when he suddenly had to be in a commercial when he was 8, and blossomed into a nerd who wants to become a mangaka. One day, however, the sponsors of the commercial Izumi was in 10 years ago wants to make another commercial. Izumi’s co-star from the commercial, Ryouma Ichijou (CV: Takuya Eguchi) only accepts if the actors are the same as when he was a child, and so Izumi has to do one other commercial. Natsume (CV: Kana Hanazawa) and her cousin Harutora (CV: Kaito Ishikawa) are both children of great onmyou users and are from the Tsuchimikado family. Harutora from the branch family is supposed to be the shikigami of Natsume’s, as she’s from the main family, but Harutora isn’t actually a spirit seer. However, Natsume unlocks his path to the onmyoudou and he starts attending the same school as Natsume to learn about it together with his friend Touji Ato (CV: Ryouhei Kimura), and becomes friends with Kyouko Kurahashi (CV: Eri Kitamura), Tenma Momoe (CV: Hiro Shimono) and Suzuka Dairenji (CV: Ayane Sakura). Together with Harutora’s shikigami Kon, these children learn the truth about Yakou Tsuchimikado, whom Natsume is said to be the reincarnation of.
Kono Danshi series is a series of stand-alone episodes. Rather than writing about one at the time, I figured I should write about both. Be warned though, this post is full of spoilers. But first some general information.
Kono Danshi series is very artistic in a sense of style. It uses the art to show feelings complemented by great voice acting and some musical pieces. Both of the episodes are boys love… kind of. If you watch these, you’ll know what I mean. I guess reading the summaries of the entire episodes could work too.
