Nanami Momozono (CV: Suzuko Mimori) has had share of bad luck in life – her father was a gambler and one day he just disappeared leaving only a note behind, and to pay his debts, Nanami was kicked out of her home. Now homeless she doesn’t know what to do or where to go, when she save a man from a dog. Then man tells her he has been away from town for 20 years and when he hears that Nanami has nowhere to go, he tells her to go to his home and kisses her forehead. Following the map she got from the strange man she arrives at a shrine and is mixed up by someone called Mikage. It appears Nanami now has become the Earth God in place of the man she met, the previous Earth God. Now her new life starts with the fox familiar Tomoe (CV: Shinnosuke Tachibana) by her side. Lucy (shortened) Yamagami (CV: Ai Kayano) starts working on the health and welfare section of the ward office to find the one who allowed her full first name and then complain. We follow her and the other newcomers Saya Miyoshi (CV: Mai Nakahara) and Yukata Hasebe (CV: Tatsuhisa Suzuki) and their supervisor Taishi Ichimiya (CV: Takahiro Sakurai) and the temp Megumi Chihaya (CV: Aki Toyosaki) in their daily life at the ward office and the various troubles they come across. Titans have conquered the earth and humans have fled into tall walls to keep themselves safe from the threat. The only ones that can leave the walls are a special unit of soldiers, but the majority of them never return from their mission. One day the outer wall, Wall Maria, falls and the titans enter. People are evacuated, people are eaten by the titans, and Eren Yeager (CV: Yuuki Kaji) was there to see it. He saw his own mother get eaten and he couldn’t do anything about it.
This makes him determined to kill all the titans and to reach his goal, he becomes a soldier. He’s refuses to accept defeat, but the day before the trainees are supposed to choose which unit to join, the titans attack again. And this time, Eren himself is eaten while his best friend Armin Arlert (CV: Marina Inoue) can’t do a thing. Continue reading
