But a strange female called Twoearle (CV: Maaya Uchida) appears, and monsters have invaded earth to remove the attribute of loving twintails out of the girls so that no girls will wear it. Souji, together with his childhood friend Aika Tsuba (CV: Yuuka Aisaka) and classmate Erina Shindou (CV: Chinatsu Akasaki), now have to fight these monsters to save earth and twintails. The legend says that the strongest vampire is the Fourth Progenitor, but it’s just a legend, because there is only three progenitors. For his entire life, Kojou Akatsuki (CV: Yoshimasa Hosoya) has been your average male student, nothing more and nothing less. But one day the Fourth Progenitor sent her spirit into Kojou and he’s now the one of legends. Keeping it secret isn’t an easy feat as his eyes turns red when he gets urges for blood, but he can’t let anyone know he became a vampire either. Dog Days’
Shinku Izumi (CV: Mamoru Miyano) is returning to Flonyard as the hero of Biscotti and he’s taking his childhood friend Rebecca Anderson (CV: Mikako Takahashi) with him when he’s summoned by the princess, Millhiore Firianno Biscotti (CV: Yui Horie). His cousin Nanami Takatsuki (CV: Nana Mizuki) is summoned by Leonmichelli Galette de Rois (CV: Ami Koshimizu), the ruler of Galette, to be their hero during the war between Biscotti and Galette held to welcome the returning hero. While seeing the broadcast of the war in question, the princess of Pastillage, Couvert Eschenbach Pastillage (CV: Aoi Yuuki), decide to make Rebecca her hero. Natsume Yuujinchou: Itsuka Yuki no Hi ni
Takashi Natsume (CV: Hiroshi Kamiya) is able to see demons. One snowy day he sees a demon who is searching for something, but doesn’t know what it’s searching for. Takashi tries to help it, but it’s hard when all he knows it’s something nostalgic, new, sparkling and warm. When the demon finds it, it became a flower and disappeared.
It’s typical to Natsume Yuujinchou and filled me with emotions – as the show always done. I loved this little OVA and when I watched it earlier this spring, it was really fitting. All in all, it’s a lovely OVA which captures the essence of the entire show, music, pacing, story and feelings included. I should write about NatsuYuu in the future.

Heart no Kuni no Alice
I… can’t… even… I don’t know. What did I watch? I don’t know. This film is an adaptation of the game made by QuinRose with the same name, which is the first game in the Alice series. It’s based on Alice in Wonderland (no kidding?) and I’ve played a little bit of it several years ago when I still wasn’t very fluent in Japanese. But this was too confusing. It completely messed me up and I kept looking at the clock. Yuck.
