Souji Mitsuka (CV: Nobunaga Shimazaki, Sumire Uesaka) loves twintails, the hair style when you put up your hair in two tails. But a strange female called Twoearle (CV: Maaya Uchida) appears, and monsters have invaded earth to remove the attribute of loving twintails out of the girls so that no girls will wear it. Souji, together with his childhood friend Aika Tsuba (CV: Yuuka Aisaka) and classmate Erina Shindou (CV: Chinatsu Akasaki), now have to fight these monsters to save earth and twintails. People call them the Twin Tails. Continue reading “Ore, Twintail ni Narimasu.”

Ace of Diamond
Eijun Sawamura (CV: Ryouta Oosaka) lives at the countryside and loves baseball and is the pitcher of his middle school team. His team, however, isn’t that great and they lose a match in the preliminaries, in which Eijun throws a stray ball the catcher couldn’t catch. But on that math, a scout happened to be there watching and she tries to recruit the young pitcher to Seido. During a visit at the school Eijun gets angry at one of the players and duels him, winning the duel and changing his life. He decides to go to that school and become their pitcher. But on his first day, he’s late and isn’t even allowed to practice with the team, but has to run and that’s all he can do. Now Eijun has to prove he’s good enough to practice with the baseball players and prove he’s the one to stand on the mound. Continue reading “Ace of Diamond”
Batch #5
Batch posts are posts where I write early impressions on shows I end up dropping or about OVAs, which I can’t write a lot about.
Natsume Yuujinchou: Itsuka Yuki no Hi ni
Takashi Natsume (CV: Hiroshi Kamiya) is able to see demons. One snowy day he sees a demon who is searching for something, but doesn’t know what it’s searching for. Takashi tries to help it, but it’s hard when all he knows it’s something nostalgic, new, sparkling and warm. When the demon finds it, it became a flower and disappeared.
It’s typical to Natsume Yuujinchou and filled me with emotions – as the show always done. I loved this little OVA and when I watched it earlier this spring, it was really fitting. All in all, it’s a lovely OVA which captures the essence of the entire show, music, pacing, story and feelings included. I should write about NatsuYuu in the future.
Batch #2
Batch posts are posts with early impressions and thoughts of shows I don’t finish.
Onee-chan ga Kita
Tomoya‘s (CV: Aimi Terakawa) father re-married and Tomoya got an older sister, Ichika (CV: Juri Nagatsuma). It would had been fine, but she’s really weirdly obsessed with her younger brother.
I didn’t really have a reason to drop this show, because the winter 2013/2014 season is full of mediocrity. I guess I dropped it so I could watch stuff I liked better r felt could go somewhere, so while it wasn’t horribly bad, it wasn’t good either.
