Release Schedule

Alright, it’s time to give you a new release schedule. I’m getting therapy for my injuries, but am feeling better and ready to take this on again!

While Beyond the Horizon isn’t ready yet by any means, When the World Falls, I’ll be Safe from the Wrath of God will begin updating again. Just as before, it will release on Mondays, but I’m shifting weeks from even to odd. I will take a short break after each chapter, so around every 9-10 parts. We have 5 parts left of Chapter One: The Elemental Mage, so it won’t be right away! Continue reading “Release Schedule”

July (mostly) Writing Report #3

I thought this was supposed to be a weekly thing, but here I am making a post every 8 days instead.

July (mostly) Writing Report #2

Well, guess who overexerted their hip? Yep. That would be this very person sitting here typing out a post two days late while in pain. It doesn’t burn like I’m hell, but it still hurts quite a lot to sit on my behind.

I still do it. I don’t know. I guess I’m just so used to pain I push through even though it’s nearly hell.

But let me get this quickly done and just report how far I’ve got.

Release Schedule

The plan was to post a review today, but going off a medication has been messing with me, so I didn’t have one ready. Don’t you just hate that? But I’m much happier off it, so that’s definitely a bonus!

But I’m not coming empty-handed! Under the cut, you’ll find the FULL webnovel release schedule for the year. It also includes special dates and holidays. All coloured are my holidays from the blog and most are national holiday too. I won’t post anything on those days, because I’m taking better care of myself and actually try to relax on national holidays (even if I don’t celebrate them).

Writing Update #4

I haven’t written any of these in a while. So I thought I’d give you a general update.

First, about my health: It’s still terrible. I’m holding on, and will be seeing a doctor next week. I hope to be back fully in 2021.

That said, I still work on Beyond the Horizon. I recently finished editing episode 11 and am almost done with the first extra episode. I was planning on being finished a month ago, but my health being as it is, there’s not much I can do about that. Continue reading “Writing Update #4”

Imagining & Picturing vs Conceptualising

I’ve noticed a lot of people have a difficult time to understand what it’s like to have aphantasia, which is something I have. Aphantasia is essentially the inability to create images in your mind voluntarily.

Essentially.

You can still make out some very vague images and have aphantasia. It’s as much as a spectrum as anything else.

I personally don’t have any images. No colours, no shapes, no memories. I can’t even recall images from my dreams and sometimes I end up wondering if I just don’t dream at all.

So I’ll let you in on a secret.

Writing Update #1

Alright! I’m here with a new series on my blog. One I know might not be appreciated by all. Why? I did a poll about whether to write about my writing, and it didn’t get overwhelming support. Or much support at all.

But I’ve been thinking. A lot. I’ve gone back and forth on it. But in the end, I decided to look at the tagline.

A collection of thoughts and polite rants on Literature and Visual Arts

As you see, I highlighted three words: “thoughts on Literature”. My work counts as literature. But! I will still write reviews, don’t worry! These posts might be sporadic, so there might not be some for months, or once every week for a few weeks. Continue reading “Writing Update #1”
