I absolutely adore the novel (and am so hyped about the official English translation!) and I am definitely very biased. However, the story is very good and worth reading. This adaptation makes the original justice, and the artist, STARember, has a gorgeous style that suits the story very well.
I definitely recommend this. It’s not heavy on the BL in the sense that though the feelings are there, there isn’t a lot of things like kisses in the original, and I think that if someone is curious about danmei or BL in general this comic might actually be a good place to start, assuming one enjoys fantasy.
