I have needed you for a long, long time. You are the one–the only one–I have been searching for.
Come. Stand up and dry your eyes. I will guide you. Leave everything to me…

2016-11-19-162123Sorata Suzuhara (CV: Atsushi Abe) is on a field trip to the Diet Building with his class when something strange happens. He hears the voice of a girl and then a song, but no one else can hear it. Suddenly he’s not there anymore but at a strange place where everything is in monochrome, without the ability to walk and his body is turning cold. But to his rescue comes a pink haired girl. She tells him he’s in the Taishou era and then takes him to a flying ship, when she learns he’s from the future. It turns out the ship is full of espers, the girl being one of them, but just as they are starting to get settled the day after getting on it, there’s an attack… Continue reading “Norn9: Var Commons”

Space Dandy

64451lSpace Dandy is a Dandy in Space.

Together with the robot QT (Uki Satake) and the Betelgeusian “——” (also known as Meow) (CV: Hiroyuki Yoshino), who joined the crew because Dandy thought he might be of some use, the three of them hangs out at the restaurant Boobies where Honey (CV: Yurin) works or fly through space hunting rare aliens and sometimes saves the day, sometimes ruins it and sometimes ends up where they started. Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom (reprise)

Hakuoki-LogoI originally wrote a few very long blog posts about this game, but sadly those posts are now gone. I will, however, write what I thought about this otome game base on memory and my notes.

Chizuru Yukimura‘s father hasn’t been in touch with her for some time, and the girl decides to go to Kyoto to find her father, dressed as a boy. In Kyoto she witnesses a Fury attack and is taken in by the Shinsengumi for interrogation of what she saw. After she comes out being a girl and tells them the reason she’s there, the captains of the Shinsengumi allow her to live on the compound, as long as she pretends to be a boy. As time pass she grown close to the captains of the Shinsengumi. Continue reading “Hakuoki: Demon of the Fleeting Blossom (reprise)”

Batch #1

Batch posts are (mostly) early impressions on shows I dropped along the way over the season. Most shows which I stop watching are dropped within the 3 first episodes or I watch through it, but there are times I drop them further in (usually longer shows). The following four are all from this ongoing winter season.

56589lSaikin, Imouto no Yousu ga Chotto Okashiin da ga.

Or ImoCho for short. In English it’s “Recently, my little sister has been a bit weird” (ignore the fact I just translated the title as is, which isn’t what I’ve actually the English title, as far as I know).

These little sister light novels are going to kill me. I thought that after torturing myself through 12 episodes and a recap of Disgusting Wifebeaters (aka Diabolik Lovers) I could watch anything. I was wrong and ImoCho slapped that in my face only days after I thought I could watch anything. Life is cruel.

Well, ImoCho seemed to be liked by my boyfriend after a single episode (I didn’t check his rating on it on MAL. Nope.) but as I’m not interested in a combination of following ingredients:
Step-siblings (older male, younger female) alone in a house (well, will be – parents are leaving for India)
Chasity-belt
Ghost masturbating while possessing girl
And more stuff like as above. Yeah, I admit I couldn’t write more without being at loss of words.

I guess the first episode could basically be described as tasteless soft porn. I’m not into that. I’ll take on those vampires any day, as long as I don’t have to watch ImoCho. Continue reading “Batch #1”

Gingitsune

MIKISHIN GET OUT OF THE THINGS I LIKE.

Now, with that out of the way…

56571lGintarou (CV: Shinichirou Miki) is a fox herald at an Inari temple. His partner, Kinjirou (CV: Kazuhiko Inoue) left the temple for unknown reasons and Gintarou has since been alone. However, with a girl like Makoto Saeki (CV: Hisako Kanemoto) with the Sight to see the herald, he isn’t really alone, and as Satoru Kamio (CV: Kenshou Ono) moves in at the temple together with a fox spirit, Haru (CV: Ayumi Fujimura), from a different temple, it even gets more rowdy. But somehow everything works out anyway. Continue reading “Gingitsune”
